Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation – Forgotten Favorite

Hey everyone!  Hope you’re week is going well!

Today I wanted to share with you my current favorite powder – which I used to LOVE when it first came out a while back.  It’s the Tarte Confidence Creamy Powder Foundation and I came across mine in my drawer the other week and have been using it ever since!

As the name suggests, it’s a super creamy powder that can either be so light it’s almost translucent, to a highly pigmented foundation which provides great coverage.  Lately, I have been using it on a big fluffy powder brush over lighter foundations to get a bit more coverage without the heavy look of a full-on foundation. The compact is super sleek and it does have a mirror, however the thin design makes keeping the puff that comes with it, impossible to fit inside.  Which is why I have lost mine LOL! But I do remember it applying great with that as well. I wish the puff did fit in the compact though since this is my preferred powder for travelling. I love taking pressed powder with my since they are much less messy than loose ones.

I have mine in the shade Light Neutral, but I think it’s a little bit more yellow-toned than neutral.  I’m tempted to try out some of the darker shades as bronzers. The formula is so smooth and blendable that I think it would be perfect for contouring or warming up the face without looking muddy or patchy.

Have any of you given this powder a try?  What did you think? Any other powders that you are loving lately? Let us know in the comments below – I’d love to give them a try!!

  1. This powder foundation is my personal favorite as well!! I love the blurred and flawless effect it gives whenever I use it! I just bought a bare-minerals foundation powder which I’m loving right now too!
