Hey everyone!! I know, I know – it’s Thursday, why am I posting?? Well I feel like I’ve missed so many in the past that I wanted to get some quick posts up since I bought a few new products on sale and with coupons/gift cards I’ve had leftover from the holidays!
One stand out product is the PUR Quick Pro Portable Sculpt & Glow On-The-Go Contour and Highlight Palette Pair. So obviously “pair” means you get both palettes in the set, which they say it is a $36.00 value, but it retails for $14.00 and I bought mine on sale for $11.00 and had a 20% off discount code! First of all, don’t buy these if you think you’re getting a large palette – these really are tiny and portable! But I don’t think that makes them unusable or worthless. I mean I definitely wouldn’t pay the $36.00 they say these are valued at, but $14 or $11 is totally reasonable. They are the perfect size for keeping in your purse for touch ups or bringing with you while traveling. Yes, this means the pan sizes are pretty small as well, but I don’t have a probably fitting a regular brush in – as long as it’s not a ginormous powder brush – stick with angled contour or round dome brushes for the easiest application!
Just the portability alone makes these little guys worth the ten or so bucks, but the powders are actually pretty gorgeous themselves!! I mean, if you know me, you know the Glow palette is so not my jam (except as eyeshadows), so I gave it to my mom who would use this ALL the time! But even I can’t deny how utterly beautiful the formulas are. The powders are pigmented, so you don’t need to use a lot which is great since I’m assuming even these small pans will last a pretty long time. They are incredibly easy to blend and they just look seamless on the skin. I like that you get a lighter cooler tone and a darker warm tone in the sculpt palette as well as a neutral bronzer with a bit of a shimmer. You can mix and match shades to get the perfect bronzy glow no matter what your skin tone is!
The highlighters are also beautiful! They are not glittery so I don’t think they would emphasize texture (but since I haven’t tried them on my face, don’t take my word for that yet)! You also get a nice mix of shades, in both tone and intensity, so I’m sure they would look beautiful on everyone.
All in all, these were a pretty great buy! They are my first PUR products and I have to say – I really love them!! I’ll definitely try out some of their other stuff and I even bought some of their brushes to try out as well.
Have any of you tried these palettes or anything else by PUR? What are your favorites and do you have any recommendations of what I should try from them next?? Let me know in the comments below!! Love you all 🙂
